It’s an amazing feeling when a vision comes to life. Our master builder had been wanting to incorporate ornate cast-iron with some of our Oxford Live Edge Walnut. Fate moved in when we happened upon a salvage Singer sewing machine.
Featuring book-matched walnut slabs, hand-planed to preserve original shape & character, plus custom metal work, Thread is truly work of art. Bar components include a fold-down walnut butcher-block prep space, bottle storage, wine glass & small glass storage.
Original sewing machine parts are dispersed throughout the piece, from the instantly-recognizable cast-iron base to the presser foot latch, add a touch of nostalgia to this functional art piece.
