A classic mission-style dresser made from handsome quarter-sawn oak, estimated to be from the early 1900s. One thing we love most about antiques is the story behind them. we love to think of their previous lives, and we kept that in mind while restoring Hank. Look closely and you can see cigarette burns & remnants of blue paint in deep scratches on the top.
We stripped off layers of grungy paint to reveal the natural wood. An homage to the blue of yesteryear, we paired the espresso stain with a navy stain to give Hank a dapper, masculine feel.
